Swallow Conservation is a nonprofit in Western Massachusetts that works to study and conserve Cliff Swallows, Barn Swallows, and Tree Swallows. There has been an abrupt decline in swallows (and other insectivorous birds) in the Northeast in recent decades. Mara's presentation describes her 30+ years of research on swallows and the on-the-ground conservation techniques she has developed.
