The Adopt-a-marsh program is aimed at completing special species surveys for secretive marsh birds as part of the Maine Bird Atlas project (2018-2022). Marsh birds appear to be declining in North America, although it is hard to know for sure because of their secretive nature. That's where this program comes in. We need your help!

Join MNHO ecologist, Logan Parker, for a webinar focused on marsh bird monitoring efforts in Maine. Attendees will learn about how you can take part in these exciting special species monitoring efforts. These efforts are being completed as part of the Maine Bird Atlas (2018 - 2022), a project of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
